Mother Vee (Violet)

An older woman who runs the Last Lantern, feeds everyone who walks in, and says the town does not trust those who believe in gods. She wears her wedding ring with the gem turned inward, and when Aelion touched her hand it glowed. She has begun to remember her late husband Mehmet Vance, and her own name, Violet. She said the word betrayal to Tüül's face and is thinking about what Aelion told her. She watched Nora and Mira meet again and said nothing, then gave Aelion a curt nod, the first he has had from her.
